The Involvement Fest held Tuesday Sept. 20 provided Fisher students with the opportunity to learn more information about the different clubs and activities on campus, in hopes that membership will increase.Saint John Fisher students, employees, and staff members attended the annual Involvement Fest held in the LeChase Commons.

Clubs including the Student Activities Board, Fisher Feminist Alliance, Latino Student Union, American Marketing Association and many more, greeted students at designated tables with candy, games, raffles, pamphlets and general information about the club.

SGA (Student Government Association) Vice President of Clubs & Activities Kelsey Michener explains how they got clubs involved: “In July, we reached to all the clubs telling them about this event and let them sign a registration form…This year we also reached out to other resources on campus like Career Center, Health and Wellness Center, Math and Writing Center, and the library.”

Freshman Alli Pierce, a current member of Fisher Players, said “I love singing, I did not want to give it up. I really wanted to find a club that got away from the stress of my classes.”

The Involvement Fest is hosted by the Student Government Association.

Those who could not attend the Festival can learn more information about campus clubs and involvement by visiting the SGA office and website ( and also can enroll in the widespread email distribution list.
