Fisher took their conference matchup with Alfred 7-2 on September 30. Women’s tennis continues to shine this season, reaching a 7-1 overall record and 4-1 standing in conference play.
The Cardinal’s success in doubles sets was the key to victory, sweeping all doubles rounds for the match. Kaili Saffran, Sarah Sorrentino, Cassidy Bell and Amanda Pendergast all contributed to the doubles victories and won their singles matchups as well. Fisher’s next test is against rival Nazareth, who holds a 6-0 record and is 5-0 in Empire 8 conference games.
