The St. John Fisher Cardinals lost 35-7 to the Morrisville State Mustangs on Saturday Oct. 20 at Growney Stadium.

Quarterback J.D. Michaels struggled in his first start since suffering from a high-ankle sprain, and was benched in the second quarter for Alejandro Utset.  Utest led the Cardinals to their only score of the day, punching the ball into the end zone for a one yard touchdown late in the first half.

The Cards once again had difficulty moving the ball, with only 160 yards of total offense and only 35 on the ground.

Fisher is now 1-5 overall (1-3 in the Empire 8).

The Cardinals defeated the soaring Eagles from Elmira College 4-0 on Senior Day. Justin Miles made two saves, and came up with the win, earning another shutout on the season. Brian Norman scored the game clinching goal on a cross pass from Steve Castellini to help seal the win for Fisher.

The Cards are now 4-9-2 overall (4-2 in the Empire 8) with one game left in the regular season.
