As we continue to recover from the pandemic, and many event spaces are given the green light to host concerts this summer, many people are finding themselves asking, “What concerts are there to go to?” Fortunately, a variety of artists are coming to stages across New York this summer.
In Canandaigua, at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands, Performing Arts Center — better known as CMAC — Kenny Chesney and Carly Peirce will be performing on June 8. Tedeschi Trucks Band is performing July 1, Keith Urban on July 10, Luke Bryan will be performing on July 15, and Sam Hunt will be performing on August 4.
In Buffalo, the KeyBank Center will be hosting performances by Justin Bieber on May 14, The New Kids on the Block with Salt N Peppa on July 17, and the Goo Goo Dolls on September 24.
At the Darien Lake Amphitheater, outside of Buffalo, the Backstreet Boys will be performing on July 3, Train will be performing on July 9, Thomas Rhett will be performing on July 15, and Jason Aldean will be performing on Aug 27.
At The St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview, Kenny Chesney will be performing on August 11, Santana and Earth Wind & Fire on August 17, and Jason Aldean on September 15.
At the Albany Capital Center, Blue Oyster Cult will be performing on March 4, Carly Pearse on March 19.
At the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, The Lumineers perform on May 29, the Zac Brown Band on June 2, Dave Matthews Band on July 8 and 9, the Foo Fighter will be performing on July 19, and The Black Keys on July 20.
Although this summer’s events are projected to be an exciting time for the community as a whole, the CDC still recommends that all guidelines and COVID-19 policies be observed when in attendance at any of these high population gathering events.
