OIT Alert: Phone System Maintenance Complete

Dear Colleagues, OIT has completed the phone system maintenance that was scheduled for today and all services have been restored. The phone system upgrade includes an upgrade to the voicemail system. Voicemails that were recorded before the upgrade will continue to be available in your Outlook email inbox (as normal). If you only accessed your voicemail from the phone, the older voicemails are available by following the below directions. 1. Call (585) 385-8185 and press * during the auto attendant message. 2. Enter your extension number followed by the #. 3. Enter your password followed by the #. All new voicemails will be delivered to your email and can be accessed via your email or via the messages button on the telephone handset. Reminder: Phone System Maintenance Tomorrow

Dear Colleagues, This a reminder that tomorrow, December 29th, OIT will be upgrading our phone system to the latest version of Cisco Call Manager. The current functionality of the phones and their feature set will not change. Any customization to the phone menus and line presences that you have will be maintained. You will also not have to redo any voicemail greetings, configurations or access pins. This upgrade includes an upgrade to the voicemail system. After the 29th any voicemails that were received prior to that date will be available in your Outlook email inbox (as normal). If you only accessed your voicemail from the phone, the older voicemails are available by following the below directions. 1. Call (585) 385-8185 and press * during the auto attendant message. 2. Enter your extension number followed by the #. 3. Enter your password followed by the #. All new voicemails will be delivered to your email and can be accessed via your email or via the messages button on the telephone handset. The phone system will be offline tomorrow morning (December 29th) starting at 8:00am and is scheduled to be back online and fully functional by 4:00pm. OIT Alert: Corrected Date – Blackboard Upgrade Announcement

Dear Campus Community, Please be aware that Blackboard will be upgraded over the holiday break and you will need to be logged out by 11:45pm on December 30th. The system will unavailable from 11:45pm December 30th until January 2nd at 5pm. Please be aware that you will not be able to log in to Blackboard during this timeframe. We will notify campus when the upgrade is complete and you can again access the system. Please review the attached What’s New in Blackboard document for a listing of new features and current feature enhancements available through Blackboard after the upgrade. Also attached is the Pre-Semester Prep document containing instructions on copying courses and making them available to students. Additional training sessions on Blackboard will be offered in early January for faculty preparing their spring courses. Please view the list of upcoming training sessions below and register now to reserve a seat.
